Siblings Always Stick Together. Chapter 35

by Writing Shark

A man does what a man can do

When you come in through the door, the first ones you see are Susan and Claire talking excitedly in front of the fireplace. Then they see you both and turn bright red. But Susan gets her things together and comes stamping towards you.

“Hey, we need to talk about yesterday.” You just look at her questioningly. Of course you know what it’s about, the face of Claire tells you everything. But to be honest, you don’t really care what they think of your adventure right now.

“Not now,” you say absently and already look around the room. You reach into your backpack and from this you pull out a large bottle of sparkling wine that you put in her hand. “You are welcome. Since you and Denise love to booze to the point of senselessness, that will probably be enough to make amends. I refrain from my ruind things and the misuse of my princess. If you manage to not empty the bottle by tonight and give Millie a nice day, maybe we can talk about the pictures in both of your heads tomorrow.” With that you point to Susan and Claire who both turn red again. You wink at Claire, whereupon she turns away and buries her face ashamed in her hands. Susan looks after you with a mixture of anger and embarrassment as you keep looking for your sisters. Then you feel a hand gently on your shoulder and turn around. Emma stands behind you and smiles slightly at you.

“Are you okay?”

“Yes, everything is cool. I had a strange night and had to got something in the city. I brought it with me.” You pull a bag out of your backpack and hold it out to Emma. “For our TV-evening. I have put together something nice I think.” She looks into the bag and her smile becomes so wide that it almost leaves her face. You wink at her too.

“Thank you Finn,” she rejoices and even hugs you. Out of the corner of your eye you can see Carrie coming into the room and when she sees you both she has to smile too. When you let Emma go, your eye falls on the stairs.

You recognize your little sister’s feet among thousands and when she comes down you pay close attention to her face. She seems lost in thought, but when she sees you, her expression undergoes a change. First there is astonishment. Apparently she didn’t awaits you just jet. Then, as always, great joy arises, but then her expression darkens again somewhat. It all happens in less than a second. Then she puts on a bright smile again and you know she’s doing it because of you. It hurts your soul, but only briefly, because you now have a plan.

“Wow Finn. I thought it was my birthday today,” she says cheerfully when she sees Emma and Susan.

“Of course I also have something for you Little One. But you won’t get that until eve,” you smile. Then you look around the room again. “Where’s Megan?”

“She’s out in the woods with Rachel and Karen,” Carrie says. You say thank you and stand a little aside to call your sister. Millie is standing next to you and you can feel her fingertips on your hand. They only touch you briefly and fleetingly, only long enough to show you that she is there. You two look at each other and Millie looks at you questioningly. She seems a little nervous and you can’t blame her for. You give her your best smile, then Megan answers the phone.

“Finn! Everything okay?”

“I am asked that frequently today. Everything cool.” You hear Megan exhale in relief. “Where are you?” She giggles.

“Oh, we ran along the lake. We are not far from the house on some kind of slope with a bench. It’s an interesting place here.”

“Ah… I see,” you say hesitantly. She quickly becomes more serious.

“Oh sorry. I didn’t want to… sorry, that was stupid of me.” She sounds really crestfallen and you grimace. The tension in the situation does not leave your sisters untouched either.

“It’s okay. Honestly. Listen, can you come back to the house soon? I wanted to talk to you and Millie.” With these words, your little sister grabs your hand and you look at her. She too is really concerned. “As fast as you can, okay?” you say, and can hear Megan turn on the heel and start moving.

“I’ll be right there” she says and before you hang up you can hear Karen calling after your sister to wait for the others.

Megan almost kicks the door into the house. You and Millie hear it from above. You sit opposite each other in your room, she on the bed and you in a chair. You spent the last few minutes in silence – it was crazy. She fiddles with her clothes and avoids eye contact and you are not looking for that. You hear trampling on the stairs, then hasty steps in the hallway. But when the door opens, it does so slowly and after a pause. When Megan sticks her head into the room, she looks almost as anxious as Millie. You wave her in, give her a big smile too, and Megan sits down next to her sister. Nothing happens at first and the two wait for you to start.

“Your message helped a lot,” you begin to cheer up the situation a little. The temperature in the room seems to have dropped one decimal place just because of your mood. The sisters sit side by side, both look nervously at their feet and you painfully realize that they think they made a mistake by giving themselves over to you. You clench your teeth and force yourself to continue. “And I was thinking about ourselves, our situation, what we did…” Your sister’s eyes keep getting bigger and the mouth of Millie is slightly open. The eyes of the two scurry across your face to get as much information as possible, but neither says anything. They cling to your lips almost with fear. “I know you trust me.” The two nod. “And I know you trust me that I can manage this situation for us so that all three of us are happy.” Again agreement. “First of all, therefore, I tell you: you – are – not – to – blame – in – anything! That’s important to me. I have the strings in my hand and therefore I am responsible.”

Now the mouth of Megan is open and Millie bites her lip. Your eyes leave their faces for a moment and take a closer look. The corner of your mouth twitches when you notice that the two girls are holding hands. It seems to be an involuntary reaction, but it’s very nice to look at. If only the situation weren’t so bad.

“I have always submitted to you, put myself in your service. I was satisfied with it and so were you. But we all three know that some things have changed. I realized that being your big brother is no longer enough. It only made things worse.” Millie wants to say something, but Megan holds her back with a light gesture and slowly shakes her head. Then they both look at you expectantly. “You cannot do anything against your feelings. And yes, I feel just like you.” You look them straight in the eye and when they both dare to look back for a moment, you continue.

“I love you. Both. That’s why I held back.” you continue to explain your point of view, which you can finally change. Finally you come to the present. “Well, we are now in a situation that is unusual for all of us. You know how I feel for both of you and how difficult it will be if we continue on the path. We will have to make our relationship a secret. Neither our parents, friends, classmates, teachers or anyone else can learn about it. It’s not that we shouldn’t be together, but it will still be difficult if we hang it on the big bell. The dangers come from a society that will tell us that it is immoral because we are a family. I don’t really care, to be honest, but I care for you.” You take a breath and then move on. “It will also be difficult between us. We can’t go back.” You see the reactions on their faces and reassure your sisters. “I don’t want that either, don’t worry. I want nothing more than to be with you. But we won’t have an easy time. If it were only between me and one of you, it would only be immoral. But if we really go through with my plan, I will mislead you into incest at worst, moral sin at best. It’s just like that. I will not leave or neglect any of you. And you are good people. It is up to you to decide whether you want me as a boyfriend. I want it, no question. But I am completely following you. I will always be there for you, even if the risk is too high for you. Then nothing will change between us, we will continue as before and are a happy family. It is important to me that you two win no matter what happens. You just have to decide how you want to win.” The girls look at you stunned. It’s not quite the reaction you expected.

“So I suggest the following: Now that we have resolved the feelings, I would like to suggest that you ask yourself if you are ready…” You shrug awkwardly. “I feel like a pimp here. Whether you are willing to… share me as your boyfriend. I only see that possibility to make you both happy. And that’s just what I want.” It’s been quiet for a long time. Soft music penetrates the room from below and you can hear muffled voices. But you sit in your own little world and forge your future. Finally Megan takes the floor.

“That… what we said is true. We like you both. And to share you is… not bad for us.” She looks at her sister and the two look into each other’s eyes. Your sisters have always been close and the bond between them is at least as strong as yours are, even if the situation has tensed up lately. The two hold a silent debate and then nod at the same time.

“We don’t want either of us to suffer and the other two to be happy,” Millie says firmly.

“We also like you too Finn. We are sisters. I think that’s the only way it works. And I can say that I have often thought about how it could work between you and me without hurtimg Millie.” Your princess nods in agreement, so you make your next point. Megan is not the only one who has given much thought to your future.

“If we have a relationship, it only works if we are always open to one another. No secrets. The others must know what is troubling you. We then do everything in threes. This is important. Of course we can also do things in pairs, but only if the other person has no problem with that. It gets… more complicated than a normal relationship. I’ll do most of the work, but I can’t take it from you to think of each other if you want to be happy. I can take care of everything else, except for this one.”

“I want that. And I’m not afraid of it,” Megan says.

“And you will do it because you love us. You know exactly what’s best for us,” Millie whispers. You exhale for a long time. Now comes the last point. The point that has held you back sexually over the years.

“And I’m not going to take advantage of you, in any form. No way. Under no circumstances and in not the smallest intensity. Everything will go as you are used to. I will never stand over you and…“ Megan gets up and takes you by the hand. She leads you to the bed and puts you between her and Millie. You weren’t done yet, but if the two have to get rid of something, then you will listen.

“Finn, one thing must be clear to you. You feel like you are taking advantage of us because you have two girlfriends. I understand that.” She kisses your hand and Millie grabs your other. It feels so good to feel the warmth of the two and to know that they are happy. But the feeling that you would treat them unfairly remains. Until Megan continues.

“You are the perfect big brother. You feel bad because you get something from us that you can’t give back to us. You think because you have two girlfriends you would neglect us. But here’s the point. Just because you like it, doesn’t mean you are a bad person. Just because you get what you always wanted you don’t take advantage of us.” She looks at Millie again. “We love you and want you to be fine too. We are not jealous. And you are welcome to enjoy the fact that we love you. Because we like that.”

“You don’t do anything bad just because you have fun with us,” says Millie, putting your hand on her cheek. “We want you to be fine. We care about you as much as you do about us.”

“And we are grateful that you are throwing yourself into the breach. You have two people, double the burden, the double effort. We owe you something for that you take that on yourself. But that is not the point. We have the same feelings for you as you have for us. We three can handle everything together.” You shake your head and smile. Is it that easy in the end? Was that it now? Is there a new chapter now? It is an interesting thought. Now everything has changed. That, of wich you were so afraid of has now arrived. And it feels pretty damn good and right. Millie is fine, Megan is fine, and that’s why you’re fine. And that’s why they’re fine. Maybe it was your mistake that held you up so long? Maybe your connection will help you instead of endangering you? You look to one side and see Millie smile. Then to the other, Megan smiles too. Both look at you expectantly, but no longer have any a trace of fear in their eyes. It’s so damn easy! You stupid idiot. You could have had it just like that.

“So,” you say quietly but firmly. You get up and turn to your sisters who stay on the bed. You squat on your shins and grab each one of your sisters’ hands. Your eyes always wander back and forth between them, then you speak the words you have denied for so long.

“My sisters. Megan. Millie. I love you and I want to be with you.”

“We love you too,” Megan says, and Millie nods so eagerly that her hair is dancing. “And we want to be with you too.” You smile weakly and look at your two sisters in love.

“Then we’re now… a trio .” You kiss her two hands. It’s done. After all the time and effort. After so many tears and thoughtful hours. And you are happy. Four delicate hands stretch out towards you and pull you back onto the bed. When you come to lie on your back, two warm bodies cling to you and four hands run over your chest. Two heads snuggle up to you and two mouths escape pleasant noises.

“I love you so much,” you mumble. Of course, the two reciprocate your confession and so you lie together in bed, staring at the ceiling and dreaming of your future. Human proximity has never felt so good for you. And you notice something else. You never have to worry about hurting Millie or Megan with the other one. The main reason for all the chaos you caused has disappeared. Now you are together and nobody can take that away from you. But there is one more thing you can do to be closer together. Not just mentally. You need physical evidence of your relationship.

“By the way, I have something else for you,” you say when you finally got up. You reach into your pocket and take out two small bags. You give it to the girls who stare at you questioningly. “Today is only your birthday Millie, but I wanted to give you this when I finally had the courage to ask you two.” You don’t sound as shy as you have in your whole life. When your sisters start to tear open the little bags, you quickly say: “It’s nothing special, but I thought we needed some kind of proof of our connection.” But your concern is completely unfounded. Your newfound girlfriends stare at you with big, watery eyes and feel their presents with their fingers. They are two inconspicuous bracelets made of two intertwined colored bands. Megan has the colors red and blue, Millie red and orange. You reach into your pocket and pull out an orange-blue ribbon. Small snap fasteners are attached to the ends. They are normal bracelets, but you hope the meaning behind them is enough for your sisters. “They’re not engagement rings,” you say shyly. “Not that they are too expensive for me, but I wouldn’t know how to get three of them. So I thought it was about the meaning, not about the material and therefore…“ You can’t get any further because your sisters are almost attacking you. With tears in their eyes, they throw you back on the bed. No one says anything, but the expression on their faces makes you forget every atom in the universe except for the cluster that forms these wonderful creatures. Or they are just angels, maybe that could be. No matter what they are in your head, they belong to you now and you belong to them. And they understand that.

Millie kisses you on one cheek, Megan on the other. Her kisses are like fire, even if her lips rest gently on your skin. Their passion can be felt as clearly as they recognize yours.

“I’ve been waiting so long for that Finn , thank you soooo much,” Megan whispers and Millie doesn’t stop kissing you. You have to laugh slightly.

“Okay, okay. Can you two stop for a second please? I want to tie those things around you.” And you make a ceremony out of it. It moves you that Megan let Millie go first and your little sister holds out her hand with more and more tears. When you close the tape on the clipper, she sniffs loudly.

“Are we together now, like for real?”

“Now I’m yours,” you say, and Millie hugs you as tightly as she can. You cover her face and kiss her on the mouth. No tongue this time, but you kiss her upper lip and then her lower lip. Then her nose, her eyelids, which makes her giggle, and then her forehead.

“We have come a long way in such a short time,” she smiles and you remember the time in your room. In any case, she is right.

“And we will definitely go further, I promise you.” Millie is overjoyed. Megan sits next to her sister and you force yourself to turn away from Millie to give Megan the same treatment. But her smile is as pure and sincere as ever, and your heart bleeds from love for her.

“My lovely Wombat…” you start, but she shakes her head slightly.

“It’s OK. No matter who comes first. I know how important these gestures are to you, and all that matters to me is that I get this bracelet tied around. Nothing more. I’m glad Millie didn’t have to wait, but I love you no matter when you put this on me.” She hands you the ribbon and now you have one or two… or a hundred tears in your eyes. Megan also cries when you put the bracelet around her right hand and when the clasp clicks, she keeps looking you in the eye. A smile as fragile and fleeting as the first ray of sunshine after a rainy night flits across the corners of her mouth.

“I’ve never been happier in my life.”

“I can only give it back,” you answer. You kiss Megan like Millie. “I’ll make you happy even if it kills me. I have no other goal than your happiness, your joy and your well-being.”

“We feel the same way,” Millie says quietly. It is heaven. You hug each other again and when Millie reaches a certain point on your shoulder, you flinch painfully. Millie is shocked and Megan blushes.

“What is it?” Asks your little girlfriend. Instead of you, Megan answers shyly.

“When I… When I jumped on our boyfriend this morning because I was so horny for him… I think I bit him.” Millie looks at Megan almost reproachfully.

“Why did you do that?” she asks. Megan grins broadly and states proudly: “Because it was so good.” You roll your eyes slightly and pull your shirt collar aside.

“Ouch,” Millie growls.

“That looks just like Sharkweek,” flinches Megan, and you both laugh. Millie is not very interested in that, she is too scared and so does not understand it. You look proudly at your two girls. Eventually, however, reason wins over the thoughts of two sweaty bodies on yours and you wander down the stairs. But before you leave the room you turn around to look at them again.

“We take our time with everything, okay? We’re together now, only that counts.” The two nod. “And for God’s sake not a word to anyone, clear?” Nods again. Then you open the door and wonder if the girls downstairs – and even worse your parents – will notice that your universe has changed forever.
